Printing Your Digital Photos Is Easy With a Kodak® Photo Printer!

Too many digital photos are just that, digital. Never again will we have scrapbooks, photo albums, framed pictures, loose photos in drawers or on the fridge, and never again will we wait in lines to get our hard film photos back. It seems that there has to be a give and take. We gain time and no longer have to wait, but now we can’t have good quality prints. If we want to print our digital photos ourselves, we have to buy photo paper and use our printers, but honestly, the quality is just never all that great. Well photo lovers, rejoice, because Kodak photo printers are now available!

Printing Technology

I have always been a fan of pictures I can hold in my hand. Pictures that I can put into a photo album and look at five years later. There is something about their glossy feel and the way they smell when they come off the photo processor. When I got my first digital camera I was more than excited, I took more pictures, I could tell how good or bad I looked instantly and never had to worry about bad shots. But I missed holding the pictures. I bought photo paper and tried printing them off using my printer, but it was never the same. The quality wasn’t very good, and the color was less than spectacular. For Christmas last year my mother and father bought me a Kodak photo printer. I was skeptical to say the least. What difference was there between this small machine and my printer? They both did the same thing. I tried it and have a whole new perspective on my digital camera. The Kodak photo printers use a new type of thermal technology that gives you not only the glossy look, but great color quality, as well.

Technology, in the realm of personal photo processing, is quickly moving forward, and with great strides. Looking back in 2004 when the first Kodak photo printers were coming out onto the market, the technology was there, but the price wasn’t. They were great, but they were expensive. I sure couldn’t afford one. Today, they can cost around the same as a camera. And considering how cheap photo paper has become, if you are like me and love the actual photo, and not just the image on your computer, investing in a Kodak photo printer is a great idea.

Printing and Sharing

My friend told me a while back that I should just get a digital photo frame. If you don’t know what they are, let me enlighten you. A digital photo frame is a small hard drive, in the shape of a picture frame. It will display your photos for you at random so you always have something new to look at. This is a great idea, but personally, I think the Kodak photo printers are a better investment. Keeping back ups of your pictures on your computer is necessary, but once again, maybe I am old school, but there is something we all love about holding a picture in our hands. Sending e-mails with attached photos is nice, but getting holiday cards with family photos is better. With the new Kodak photo printers, you can make your own holiday cards, you can make collages again, and you can have fun with your photos without worrying that their quality is suffering. Say goodbye to printing off digital pictures from your ordinary printer, great pictures deserve a great printer and the Kodak photo printers are a bar above the others!
